Product Warranty on the Fingerprint Lock

  • 2.1 Warranty Period: A warranty period of 12 months from the original date of purchase applies to the correct functioning of the fingerprint lock mechanism and the electronics of the product.

  • 2.2 What Does the Warranty Cover? The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, such as the non-functioning of the fingerprint scanner or the unlocking mechanisms due to a defect in the device itself.

  • 2.3 Exclusions: The warranty is void and does not cover the following situations:

    • Damage caused by improper use, misuse, negligence, incorrect installation, or maintenance (including the use of unapproved accessories or replacement parts).

    • Damage caused by external factors such as accidents, lightning strikes, water damage, fire, or other natural disasters.

    • Wear and tear of consumables such as batteries.

    • Damage to the cosmetic aspects of the product (scratches, dents).

    • Fingerprint locks that have been opened, modified, or repaired by unauthorized persons.

    • Defects caused by force majeure.

  • 2.4 Warranty Claim: If you wish to make a warranty claim, you must notify us in writing and provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

  • 2.5 Solution under Warranty: If the defect is covered by the warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace the product (with a new or refurbished product), or offer a refund. The decision regarding the remedy rests with us.
